I had a fascinating discussion about superstitions yesterday with a couple of writers at a Books-A-Million book signing.

Once I went overboard with good luck charms. I wore seven Celtic pendants at one time, and my lucky socks 24/7. The chains got tangled around my neck and I had to keep washing the socks. The luck that I was seeking didn't happen, so I blamed it all on the pendant fiasco.
